This confused me because I’ve been paying for McAfee annually to do this. The person suggested I spend over $80 for their technical service to log on to my computer and remove the virus or something. I could hardly understand this person and this was the last thing I wanted to deal with, someone that I can’t understand who clearly doesn’t understand my delimma. I called McAfee and when I finally got through the abhorring machine a foreigner answered. They were modified one by one throughout the wee hours of the night while i was sleeping because I thought McAfee was "protecting" my computer.

I did a search on my C: drive for *.doc and I could see that they were all modified starting right around the time or soon after I ran my full system scan with McAfee. jpg files are now blank with only FileError_22001 displayed in red at the upper left corner. The next day, Monday, I realized that all my. All this scanning and what not took up most of my day, periodically throughout the day.
It appeared to remove it but I had to run it twice before i stopped receiving DEP pop ups. Then I downloaded noadaware and it appeared to find something but I had to purchase ($56 for 3 years I think) it before I could use the removal tool. Then I realized there was still something bad, my computer was really messing up bad! pop ups, DEP stopping programs, etc. I woke up and McAfee said there was nothing.
I felt something was wrong so i ran a McAfee full system scan starting around midnight Saturday night and then went to bed. This virus or whatever it is still got into my system. I had McAfee running and "protecting" my computer with a firewall, virus protection, and current with the works running.
